VertaSlag
1993-2000

First Generation of Modern Electroslag Design for Narrow Gap Welding. The VertaSlag was designed by Arcmatic Welding Systems as modular systems.

Research and Development
2005-2017

Improvements on the EWS and SubArc software took place to introduce new, never before used capabilities with an active Artificial Intelligent. This was the beginning stages of the Roboslag series.

RoboSlag
2020-2022

CorTech Industries is pleased to introduce our newest member to the Electroslag series, Roboslag. Just like Vertaslag reinvented traditional Electroslag, Roboslag reinvents the Vertaslag and brings it into the new generation. Roboslag is designed to switch between 3 Welding Modes--consumable ESW, non-consumable ESW and Submerged Arc--without changing the welding head and common consumables such as welding wire and flux .

The Roboslag software is built with an integrated artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor and control all welding variables and signals with a 15” industrial touchscreen and includes features that are user-friendly. The Roboslag software is designed to adapt to any modular hardware in the setting. We rebuilt the software from the ground up, and included features that are user-friendly. The new Roboslag features a sleek interface and onscreen controllers. This allows the user full control of their machine, with easy to understand alerts that allows the user to easily identify what is in use and what may need attention.
First embeded computer for modular systems
2000-2005

Integration an embedded computer and controlling the welding parameters during the weld.

Design and Reseach of Multi functional welding systems for field and shop fabriction.
2017-2020

Design the first concept for the first ESW, Submerged Arc systems for the field welding application by splicing W-columns, Box Columns in the field in less than 15 minutes for each splicing which is about 280 times faster of a manual welding with flux cored wire.

Invent an advanced Technology to refine grain structure -GSF9000
2019-2021
GSF-9000 is utilized during the weld to refine the grainstructure. As result of this process, the voltage will be decreased up to 38%, less heat input, the highest impact.
